Emily Harpel

I founded Art of Sucre and turned a small cotton candy events business into a nationally recognized CPG brand that reinvented the category. Nearly a decade later, I successfully sold the company to a large candy manufacturer.

i’m Emily Harpel, the founder of Art of Sucre, a viral Cotton Candy brand I built from the ground up.

What started as a small, events-based business grew into a nationally recognized CPG brand with over 1.6 million organic social media followers and partnerships with brands like Barbie, Kate Spade, American Girl, 818 Tequila, and more. I didn’t just build a brand, I built every part of the business behind it. From product development and content strategy, to partnerships, operations, and sales, I’ve worn every hat along the way. In 2025, I successfully exited the business, navigating positioning, deal structure, and negotiation firsthand. Now I work with founders to do the same.

“Having a whisper advisor by my side was essential to the success of my own acquisition. Now I look forward to working with them to do the same for other female founders.”
